Collateral Management This succinct discussion of the subject of collateral management focuses on in-house v. external (both custodian and third party) collateral management arrangements. A one-hour presentation, the module is intended to help management determine which of several methods of collateral management to choose to avoid risks and maximize profits.
Money Laundering On March 2004, the new European anti-money laundering regulations were incorporated into UK law. For the past decade, detecting and preventing money laundering has been an increasingly important task in the financial industry and in other businesses as well. John Piccitto first developed a program to deal with money laundering prevention for a major international equity finance department before 9/11, before the FAFT regulations were mooted, when the "Patriot Act" was still in separate bills in the US Senate and House committees. Ever since then, he has followed the evolution of anti-money-laundering law with keen, well informed interest.
Our training module on the detection and prevention of money laundering covers the application of the Know-Your-Customer rule and outlines a current, detailed program for documenting, monitoring, auditing programs and training in-house staff.
